Week 3 Cricket, Lion Dance and Duffy's visit

Stuck-in-the-mud as in the cricket way

Hi Everyone

What a busy week we had. On Monday, we learned how to make some balancing moves and then Thursday we started some basic cricket skills such as 'lunching' forward, catching and running.

Two lions were out in the playground on Thursday to celebrate Chinese New Year. Did you see have a wriggle with the lions?

Finally, on Friday, Duffy and his friends visited us and put on a marvellous show about reading and using our imagination. They had howling plants from Harry Potter and slithering snakes from ancient Egyptian times! Tino kino te Pai!

You are free when the ball is rolled through your legs.

Who is driving this lion?

How does the sound change on the piano?

How to balance these bars?

How heavy is this block?

I wonder how the ball gets so high and stays so high for so long?

How do I get a perfect stack without any sack falling down?
I wonder why the duck have ......?

Do you know the sound these birds make?

Can you hear the sound of these busy bees?

What happens to these beads when it is turned around?

What can I hear?

This is a night vision machine. What do you look like in the dark?

How long is the science truck?

On Tuesday 17 February, the Science truck arrived at Wesley Primary. We were soooooooooooooo
excited and we estimated the length of the truck? We used the one metre ruler as the unit of measurement and tried to measure its actual length.
Can you make a guess how long it is?

Ms Cheung
