 We love to share our talents in Room 4. We are all unique and encourage each other. Here is one of our talented piano players playing two songs for you! Can you guess the name of the songs?

A huge thank you to all the students and whanau that came to help with gardening on Saturday! What a great turn out and don't the gardens look great?! Also our mokomoko is nearly finished. Your help is hugely appreciated.

Today we did some great descriptive writing about our new gardens.

What a great afternoon we had helping the Hilton staff to make our new 'Mokomoko'. 

Come tomorrow (Saturday) anytime between 9am-2pm and have lots of fun helping the school! Everyone is welcome and lunch will be provided by the Hilton.

Hooray! Our bees are now in the garden! Everyone was so excited.

Art on display in the hall

Our symmetry art work is now on display in the hall. We looked at symmetry, texture and landscapes. Check it out :-)

        

  

Statistics

We have been doing some awesome statistical investigations in class this week. We had to pick a question in our group, collect data, make graphs and present our findings to the class. Here is some of out wonderful work.



 We came up with some interesting questions. For example: What is your favourite planet? Who is your favourite actor? What is your favourite shop? What is your favorite technology device?
As a whole class we looked at the types of mini-beasts around our school and community. Through that we found we needed more bees. We have made bees to display in our garden. The photos of the bees will be up on our blog tomorrow.
